Apart from the official Giraffe Blog (obviously!) there are some other incredible blogs online. The trouble is, with so many websites and so much junk, and search engines being so populated with adverts and ‘sponsored links’ how is one supposed to find the goldmines amongst the rubbish.
For a start, take a look at my favourite blogs of 2013.
The Verge is so much more than a tech blog. It converse the intersection of technology, culture, politics, art and science. Catch all the recent news from the big players in Silicon Valley, as well as new app reviews, weird and wonderful uses for technology, and how the recent NSA security issues will change our future. There are forums too, if you want to stick your oar in!
This blog resides on Facebook and is an enormously popular collection of wonderful images around the world. Cute animals, amazing landscapes and breathtaking moments are collated on this page and shared to over 100,000 fans.
You will find yourself questioning whether half of the images are real, or even possible, but isn’t that just the beauty of nature?!
LifeHacker contains some brilliant tips on everyday ‘hacks’- how to take shortcuts, and save time and money.
Since discovering this blog last year, I’ve used a number of their ideas and I’m sure you will too- take a look!
