A lot happened in 2012. The world didn’t end, Windows 8 was created, they invented the Oculus Rift Virtual Reality Headset and Carly Rae Jepsen told us to call her…maybe. However, the most important creation of 2012, for us anyway, was Giraffe Social Media – the OG (Original Giraffe) of social media marketing.
On June 17th, our managing directors Phil and Kane put in place the start of a legacy of amazing social media managers, fantastic content writers and efficient social media advertisers. Over seven years our expertise in social media has grown and evolved, so much so, we can confidently call ourselves specialists in the field.
We’ve moved office, we’ve had new recruits, we’ve changed the way we work. Our longest social media manager Shelly had this to say on her time at Giraffe: ‘In the old office, ping pong tournaments were really fun. Remote working means we take effort to get to know each other when we’re in. We’re all friends and have grown together.’
